WCVB-TV Channel 5 Anchorwoman Susan Wornick is well known in Massachusetts’ nonprofit community for being the most dedicated and enthusiastic benefactor, donating countless hours as an event emcee and auctioneer for hundreds of local charities. Susan proudly attributes her giving spirit to her mother, Myrna Billian. A spry 97 years old, Myrna lives independently, continues to volunteer and is a remarkable role model for women of all ages.

On Sunday, April 29, 2012, Susan Wornick is teaming up with Bloomingdale’s in Chestnut Hill for a special “For the Love of Mom” fashion show to celebrate motherhood and the influence of mother’s in our community. This exciting event will feature a champagne brunch, fabulous prizes, and spring fashions modeled by Susan Wornick and her mother plus five local families who have all been touched by breast cancer:

 Sue Brady of Mix104.1 & daughters Grace (12) and Charlotte (8), (Wellesley)

 Breast cancer survivor Tara Griffith, daughter Ava (3) and mother Melinda White, (Walpole)
