CARE DIMENSIONS ANNOUNCES UPCOMING FALL SUPPORT GROUPS AND WORKSHOPS
Free Programs Help Bereaved Individuals and Families Cope with Loss
Care Dimensions’ Center for Grief & Healing, formerly Hospice of the North Shore & Greater Boston, is offering a variety of upcoming workshops and support groups. Most groups are free of charge, and all groups are open to the public regardless of hospice involvement. All groups meet at Care Dimensions’ Wellesley office at 70 Walnut Street in Wellesley, MA, unless otherwise noted. Space is limited and advance registration is required. Support Group and Workshop Offerings:
Loss of a Spouse/Partner, a weekly support group, will meet on Mondays beginning on September 8 through October 27 from 6–7:30 p.m. (Please RSVP to 855-774-5100 by September 2.)
Newly Bereaved is a one-time workshop for loss within the last three months that meets on September 9 from 6–8:30 p.m.
Mending Hearts: The Loss of a Difficult Relationship is a workshop for any bereaved person struggling to navigate the loss of a person with whom they had a difficult or complicated relationship. This workshop will take place on Tuesday, September 23 from 6-8 p.m. (Please RSVP to 855-774-5100 by September 15.)
Continuing Bonds: Loss of a Friend Workshop is a workshop for any bereaved person mouring the loss of a close friend or colleague. This workshop will take place on Tuesday, October 7 from 6-8 p.m. (Please RSVP to 855-774-5100 by September 29.)
Healing Hands and Hearts: Tending to Caregiver Grief is a workshop for any bereaved person who was a full-time caregiver. This workshop will take place on Tuesday, October 28 from 6-8 p.m. (Please RSVP to 855-774-5100 by October 20.)
