“A Black Regiment in the Civil War”

The Wellesley Historical Society and the World of Wellesley are sponsoring “A Black Regiment in The Civil War” on Thursday, February 11th at 7:00 pm at the Wellesley Free Library.  In celebration of Black History Month, Donald Yacovone, Manager of Research at Harvard’s DuBois Institute, will discuss the history of the 54th Massachusetts Regiment, the first black state regiment in the Civil War.
