The Community Fund for Wellesley’s (CFFW) COVID-19 Relief Fund was created in partnership with the Wellesley Select Board to identify and address community needs during the coronavirus crisis. The tasting supported the Society’s role in the community and contributed to its general operating fund. The Society plans to develop more new and exciting virtual programs this year.

Wellesley Weston Chabad Rabbi Moshe Bleich can now add a new accolade to his impressive list: He was a part of the world’s longest Zoom meeting. Bleich says every year he travels to New York to join the world’s largest Rabbinic gathering, the International Conference of Chabad-Lubavitch rabbis. This year, Bleich attended virtually via Zoom. He says the meeting is the world record longest Zoom call at over 120 hours long. Chabad is a Jewish organization known for its community outreach.
