Century Health Systems is presenting classes in Wellesley and Weston in early February. There will be two classes for children at the Weston Community Center February 3, 2016. (Registration is required.) and two at the Wellesley Recreation Department February 4, 2016. (Registration is required.)
Weston classes:
In Home Alone Safety, children will learn telephone and door answering techniques, internet safety, accident and fire protection, first aid techniques and how children should manage their time when home alone for short periods of time. For ages 9 to 11. Cost: $50/$60
Babysitter Lessons and Safety Training is an American Academy of Pediatrics course that addresses the basics of infant and childcare; how to react responsibly to medical emergencies and injuries; perform first aid for common childhood injuries and illnesses; and set up and run a babysitting business. For ages 11-13. Cost: $55/$65
Wellesley classes:

The AHA Pediatric First Aid/CPR course teaches how to manage a child’s illness and injuries in the first few minutes until professional help arrives. Course content includes first aid basics, medical emergencies, injury emergencies, environmental emergencies, optional first aid topics and CPR and AED. Cost to attend: $85
