“Dear Olivia” Modern Dance Performance

Wellesley resident and choreographer Joanie Block presents her Modern Dance company in Dear Olivia on April 27th and 28th at the Green Street  Theatre (Cambridge) and May 3rd at the JCC (Newton).  The performance, inspired by a letter Joanie sent to a neighbor on the occasion of her Bat Mitzvah,  traces the lifespan of a woman under the watchful and guiding eye of a young girl’s spirit.  Original score by Billy Novick.
