Cutting Edge Homes, Inc. is excited to announce that Carolyn Kelly has recently joined the Architects+Builders firm as the Director of Construction, a new position within the firm.
Kelly brings her superior leadership and project management skills along with her dynamic and creative international expertise in residential and commercial design to the team at Cutting Edge Homes. Prior to her appointment, Kelly most recently managed design projects for Jones Lang LaSalle in Boston where her responsibilities focused on project oversight. She coordinated the architectural, engineering and construction support while effectively developing and managing the scope, budget, and schedule of each project. Before moving to Boston, she applied her interior design training from Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT) University as a Designer and Project Manager for New York based firms CP and Associates and Fifth Season Design.
Kelly has worked on many residential projects as well as large scale commercial developments for notable clients such as United Health Group, Citizens Bank, and Edison Hotel NYC. She played an integral role in the Citizens Bank Refresh Program, managing over eighty project locations across Massachusetts and Rhode Island. During this multi-phase renovation, she not only coordinated the construction work but also managed the budget, scope, and schedule. Exercising her ability to identify and capitalize on current local and global design trends, she also managed and directed the design and construction of the 11,000 square foot interior upgrade to the Edison Hotel in New York City.

As the Director of Construction at Cutting Edge Homes, Carolyn Kelly will be responsible for directing all aspects of luxury residential projects while working closely with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and staff. She will assemble project teams that are the best fit for each project and manage quality, budget, and schedule initiatives. Kelly is dedicated to increasing company-wide consistency and simplicity in operations, schedules, and reporting.
