The Wellesley Dental Group announced that it will be hosting a community blood donation drive on February 20th at the Wellesley Community Center. The drive, held in cooperation with the American Red Cross and the Wellesley Community Center, aims to collect more than 50 units of lifesaving blood.
Dr. Femina Ali, D.M.D. of Wellesley Dental Group, said that the drive was a way to support the work of the American Red Cross in area communities as well as across the country. “A donation of blood is a precious lifesaving gift that anyone can give to another person,” said Dr. Ali. “It is an honor to sponsor this event with such an incredible organization and have the opportunity to help on this life-saving mission.”
Members of the public are invited to attend. Donors with the following blood types are invited to donate by the Red Cross’ double red cell technology (2RBC): O- , O+, A- , B-.

Venue: Wellesley Community Center, 219 Washington Street, Wellesley, MA
