In the century since the Wellesley Historical Society was founded, the society has been gathering Wellesley’s history in the form of letters, diaries, architectural designs, postcards, restaurant menus, dresses, uniforms, maps, paintings, and many, many photos. The smallest items include butterflies the size of a thumbnail and the
largest farm equipment such as an oxen yoke.
In September, the collection will finally have a home where residents can truly steep themselves in the past. Learn more about the Wellesley History Center coming this fall in the Digital Edition of the Spring 2025 Issue of WellesleyWeston Magazine.
