Wingate Healthcare recently celebrated the Grand Opening of One Wingate Way, a luxury independent living residence conveniently located at the crossroads of Newton, Needham and Wellesley.

The Grand Opening party, held April 27, kicked off with a ribbon cutting ceremony featuring Nicollette Starnella, Aqua Spa and fitness director at One Wingate Way; Heidi Schuster, wife of Wingate Healthcare President Scott Schuster; Maria Lastoria, executive director at the Residences and One Wingate Way; David Feldman, vice president of development at Wingate Healthcare; Jessica Schuster, principal of Jessica Schuster Design; Jamielynn Salisbury Hurley, director of community relations at the Residences and One Wingate Way; Lisa Santiago, director of community relations at the Residences and One Wingate Way; and Caitlin Mark, memory care director at the Wingate Residences at Needham.

Wingate Healthcare President Scott Schuster welcomed distinguished guests from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the town of Needham, including William Francis Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts; Representative Denise Garlick, Commonwealth of Massachusetts; Richard Moore, former senator and president of Massachusetts Assisted Living Association. Wingate Healthcare was also joined by members of the project team, including Andrew Stebbins, Architect and Project Manager, The Architectural Team; Bob Verrier, Principal, The Architectural Team; Derek Kirkorian and Tony Buckman of Callahan Construction; Joe Roche, of Callahan Construction and project executive for One Wingate Way; Tom Henderson and Ed Rich of East Boston Savings Bank; and Jessica Schuster, principal of Jessica Schuster Design.
Throughout the evening, One Wingate Way residents, family and friends were treated to signature dishes and wine tasting from local restaurants and businesses. Wingate was pleased to be joined by local partners who contributed to the refreshments enjoyed by guests at the Grand Opening, including:

To celebrate Aqua by Wingate, the unique health and wellness lifestyle experience featured at One Wingate Way, guests were treated to a Virtual Reality Meditation offered by Rotu, a Boston-based entertainment and media company focused on the intersection of art, media and technology.
