An evening to celebrate the incredible model ships constructed by Dr. Anthony Whittemore was held at J. Todd Galleries this Thursday, October 20th. The Gallery displayed his intricately crafted ships as well as a selection of nautical paintings by various gallery artists including Fritz Kubitz, Sam Vokey, Ronald Tinney, Robert Stark and more. Dr. Whittemore was the Chief Medical Officer at Brigham and Women’s Hospital (BWH) until he retired in 2011. In honor of his history with the hospital, 10% of all sales on the evening of the opening was donated to the President’s Fund at BWH.
