The Natick Visiting Nurse Association (Natick VNA), the area’s premier free-standing, not-for-profit home health care agency, announced that it has received donations from the Wellesley Hills Junior Women’s Club and Whole Foods Market Wellesley.
The Wellesley Hills Junior Women’s Club awarded a grant to the Natick VNA in the amount of $1,800, which will be used toward the cost of unreimbursed home health care to Wellesley residents in need.
“Our volunteers take great pride in providing grants to organizations like the Natick VNA,” said Carrie Aronson, Vice President of Charitable Giving, Wellesley Hills Junior Women’s Club.
Whole Foods Market Wellesley also recently made a donation of more than $5,000 to the Natick VNA, funds that were generated during its recent 5% Community Support Day initiative. These funds will cover the cost of care for Natick VNA’s patients who are un- or underinsured.
“We rely on the generosity of gracious donors and partners like the Wellesley Hills Junior Women’s Club and Whole Foods Market to help us provide the much-needed care we provide to individuals and families in their homes. We are grateful for their recognition of the importance of the work we do,” said Natick VNA CEO Judith Boyko, MBA, MS, RN.
The Natick VNA is located at 209 West Central Street, Suite 313, Natick, Mass., 01760. For additional information, call 508-653-3081 or visit www.natickvna.org.
