Wellesley Bank, a premier bank and wealth management company, announced today that Michael W. Dvorak, a respected leader and tenured banking industry executive has joined Wellesley Bank as EVP, Chief Financial Officer, effective July 1, replacing the current SVP, CFO, Gary Culyer who has retired.
Mr. Dvorak brings extensive financial and operational leadership experience to Wellesley Bank. He has more than 30 years of banking experience, most recently as Senior Vice President of Finance at State Street Corporation. Previous experience included 15 years at Keycorp where he was the CFO of both the Community Bank and the Consumer Bank. Michael has a B.A., Economics from Miami University and an MBA of Banking and Finance from the Weatherhead School of Management, Case Western Reserve University. He is actively involved in the community as a volunteer and providing financial support to Weston Little League, Weston Boosters, WEEFC, Boston Food Bank, March of Dimes, Arc of Massachusetts and The Salvation Army.
