All schools, institutions, and civic organizations are cordially invited to join Wellesley Dental Group’s 12th Annual Candy Drive for the Troops. From November 1st to 7th, they will be collecting candy, handwritten notes, and cards for our soldiers deployed overseas. Their goal is to inspire the spirit of giving in children by encouraging them to share their Halloween candy with our troops abroad. These sweet treats and the handwritten cards are a reminder of home for these soldiers and a reflection of our gratitude.
The packages will be sent via CarePacks, a local non-profit organization, along with oral hygiene supplies. The participating school PTO that donates the most candy (by weight) per student is awarded a $1000 cash prize. They are also inviting all schools and organizations to participate in the press event on November 8th, 2019 at 10 – 11 am. Local media and photographers will capture your generous donation. Principals, faculty, parents, and students (with the permission of their teachers, of course) are welcome to attend.
