The Wellesley Historical Society seeks a collaborative, energetic and experienced professional for the position of Curator. This part-time role reports to the Executive Director and provides an opportunity to develop and take ownership of new exhibits for the Society. The Curator will be responsible for maintaining, preserving, documenting and educating the public on the collections.

Required Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in History or related field with nonprofit, professional experience. Master’s degree is preferred. Grant writing proficiency and successful grant management, exhibit development and installation experience, Past Perfect aptitude, and collections management and preservation experience are required. 3-5 years of curatorial experience required. Must possess strong public-speaking skills, an ability to work collaboratively and independently, and an enthusiasm for local history.
