Benjamin Franklin, an inventor, publisher, scientist, and one of the Founding Fathers of the United States, who helped draft the United States Constitution and the Declaration of Independence, knew something about writing and leadership. The work of the staff of The Bradford, the student newspaper at Wellesley High School (WHS), exemplifies Franklin’s judicious words and actions by giving fellow students and faculty “something worth reading,” and righteous action, by taking a political stand.

And it did not go unnoticed.
