The Rotary Club of Boston’s 48th Annual Governor’s Prayer Breakfast will be held at 7:15 a.m. on Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at the Boston Park Plaza’s Imperial Ballroom.  Visit www.bostonrotary.org for more information.

Distinguished guests Governor Deval Patrick and Mayor Thomas M. Menino will attend, while honoring The Trefler Foundation (www.treflerfoundation.org) and benefiting Future Chefs (www.futurechefs.net) and My Sister’s Keeper (www.mskeeper.org).  The breakfast brings together prominent business, professional, political, and religious community leaders for two hours of fellowship and reflection.  A full breakfast is served.

The Rotary Club of Boston began sponsoring the Annual Governor’s Prayer Breakfast around the time President Eisenhower was in office. It was meant to mirror the Presidential Prayer Breakfast, which is held every year to give religious, political, social, and business leaders a chance to build relationships that may not otherwise be possible.

The Rotary Club of Boston is a long-standing organization dedicated to serving the community and enriching the lives of its members through networking and friendship. It takes pride in supporting the Boston and international communities through philanthropy and volunteer projects.
