On Sunday, January 9 at 3 PM, come hear a concert by Rafael Popper-Keizer, Cello and Esther Ning Yau, Piano at the Weston Public Library in the Community Room. They will play works of Chopin, Faure, and Schumann. Popper-Keizer (“Rafi”), one of the most eminent freelance players in Boston, plays everything from continuo for 17th century motets to solo recitals, to avant-garde improvisations, to indie rock. Esther is on the faculty of the New School of Music in Cambridge among others, and has received numerous awards from the international community.

The last time Rafi and Esther played at the library, in January 2009, the crush of people wanting to hear them was so great that many had to sit on the floor or stand in the gallery outside the Community Room, so come early, secure a chair, and prepare yourself for an hour of wonderful music-making.
