The Wellesley Village Church, Citizens Climate Lobby and Sustainable Wellesley invite the public to the latest Climate Reality Project Workshop on May 10 from 6.30- 8.30 at 2 Central Street in the Village Common room. This event is free.
Trained by Al Gore, Wellesley resident Quentin Prideaux, will present the Climate Reality Project presentation and lead the workshop which includes break out sessions on home efficiency opportunities, political action, solar overview as well as renewable energy and home energy audit information. Pizza and dessert will be served at 6.30 and the workshop starts at 7pm.
We hear the news about super storms and melting ice caps, but what can we do about climate change? Come hear the latest information on the climate crisis. Learn what you can do right now to reduce your carbon footprint and help change our climate future. It is one of the greatest moral challenges of our time.
Faith groups across Wellesley and a variety of Green organizations in town encourage residents to continue the green movement in Wellesley.
