The FBA is the leading independent, non-profit organization serving family business enterprises and annually recognizes the accomplishments of several highly successful Massachusetts family businesses and offers opportunities for all of the owners to enhance their companies.

Dover Rug & Home was handpicked out of a very competitive pool as the company embodies the determination, perseverance, and respect that businesses strive to emanate. The FBA acknowledges the challenges and significant hurdles that family businesses must overcome in order to flourish, as well as the reality that the Massachusetts economy is supported and backboned by family businesses. The association provides educational programming and a forum for these businesses to collaboratively exchange knowledge and experience and is dedicated to the recognition and implementation of best business practices and ethical standards among these enterprises.

The FBA Awards ceremony takes place Thursday, October 23 at The Royal Sonesta Hotel in Cambridge, MA beginning at 4:30 PM with a VIP Reception. Cocktails and dinner will follow. The event is hosted by WBZ – CBS Boston news anchor David Wade and features keynote speaker Leo Vercollone of VERC Enterprises.
