Time and the weather aren’t the only things that are changing this Spring. To help Metro West area residents lose those extra pounds for bathing suit season, Healthy Habits Kitchen (www.healthyhabitskitchen.com), a company dedicated to helping busy families eat healthy, is making light of family favorite recipes and allowing individuals to assemble and stock-up on the company’s healthy meal kits at their Girl’s Night Out event on March 29, 2011 from 7 – 8:30 pm.
Healthy Habits Kitchen creates and sells healthy meal kits that contain everything that is needed to cook a nutritionally balanced meal easily in less than 30 minutes. The kits, which contain ingredients like pre-chopped vegetables and fruit, a protein, sauce and spices, can be purchased already assembled or the customer can do their own assembly. Individuals follow the directions on the box, making dinner entrees like Broiled Tilapia with Thai Coconut Curry Sauce, Fruited Chicken Curry Stew, Quick and Healthy Chili and Shrimp Putanesca with Wheat Pasta.
“Eating healthy doesn’t have to be about deprivation and that’s what Healthy Habits Kitchen and this event are all about,” said Sue Schochet, Owner of Healthy Habits Kitchen. “With a few tweaks, any recipe can be easier on the waistline and that’s what we aim to show at this event.”
At the Girl’s Night Out on March 29, 2011, from 7 – 8:30 pm, individuals will be able to assemble their meal kits in a workstation environment in order to stock up on healthy food. They will also enjoy a healthy dinner with their favorite beverage and, of course, gabbing with girlfriends and learning about how to eat healthy. One lucky individual will win a free meal kit by submitting a recipe they’d like to be easier on their waistline.
Girl’s Night will take place at Healthy Habits Kitchen, which is located at 36 Washington Street, Suite 2 in Wellesley. RSVP is required. For more information or to RSVP, visit http://healthyhabitskitchen.com/fp_menu/current_events.php or call (781) 235-6325.
