The London Harness Company is hosting a pre-holiday shopping event entitled “Travel the World with London Harness” on Wednesday November 16 from 5 to 8 pm, at their Wellesley location, 45 Central Street Wellesley.
Representative from luggage manufacturers Tumi, Victorinox, Brics, Lepault, and Ghurka will be on hand to answer questions and assist customers. Guests will enjoy wines from the wellesleywinepress.com. A representative from Soiree will be demonstrating their wine aerator. Appetizers representing several international cuisines will be served by local Wellesley restaurants Milestone, Singh’s Café and Lemon Thai.
Shoppers will receive 10% off purchases during the event, and a portion of the evening’s proceeds will be donated to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Massachusetts.
This venerable retailer has been in business since 1776. They specialize in travel accessories and luggage, along with small leather goods and gifts for the person who has everything. “In this day where we are seeing more and more local and independent retailers close up shop, we are pleased that London Harness is still going strong after more than 235 years” states Dan Woodman owner.
London Harness has a second location at the Derby Street shops in Hingham.
