Ira Silver, author and Wellesley College professor of
sociology, will speak at Waterstone at Wellesley on Thursday, March 20, at
2:30 p.m. Silver will discuss his new work, “Rampage: Getting Beneath the
Jarring Headlines About School Violence.” This event is free and open to

*Steve Lanzillotta performs at Waterstone (March 22)
Waterstone at Wellesley will welcome musician Steve Lanzillotta on Saturday, March 22
at 2:30 p.m. in the River Room. Lanzillotta is a longtime local pianist
from Hanover, Mass., who has been playing solo piano–whether it’s the
American songbook, standards, show tunes, jazz, ragtime, or popular–for 30

*Art Matters lecture on Renoir at Waterstone (March 24)
Artist,Educator and Art Matters owner Jane Blair will give a lecture on
Pierre-Auguste Renoir at Waterstone on Monday, March 24 at 2:30 p.m. Renoir
is famous for helping to pioneer the Impressionist style of painting during
the late nineteenth century. This event is free and open to the public, but

*Waterstone hosts Parkinson’s Caregiver Support Group (March 25)
Waterstone at Wellesley will host a support group for caregivers and individuals
affected with Parkinson’s disease on Tuesday, March 25, at 2 p.m. Michelle
Caron, RN, of the Visiting Nurses Association of Greater Medford, will lead
the group. Caron has extensive experience working with Parkinson’s patients
and leads multiple support groups in the Greater Boston area. This event is

*Critic Kimmel discusses “Rebecca” at Waterstone (March 30)
Film critic Dan Kimmel will present on the movie “Rebecca” at Waterstone at
Wellesley on Sunday, March 30 at 2:30 p.m. Kimmel is a past president of
the Boston Society of Film Critics and current co-chair of the Boston
Online Film Critics Association. He is also a Boston correspondent for
Variety and teaches film at Suffolk University. “Rebecca” is an adaptation
of a novel of the same name by Daphne du Maurier. This event is free and

*Historian discusses figures of Mount Rushmore (March 31)
Stonehill College professor Gary Hylander will present the lecture, “Who’s on Mount
Rushmore and Why?” at Waterstone at Wellesley on Monday, March 31 at 2:30
p.m. Hylander, a popular speaker who frequently gives history lectures at
local venues, will discuss the four presidents–George Washington, Thomas
Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt and Abraham Lincoln–featured at the famous
memorial. This event is free and open to the public, but an R.S.V.P. is
