Women of Means  will be participating in the MetroWest Homeless Forum, on Sunday, March 18, 2012, 2:30 PM – 5:00 PM at the Wellesley Congregational (Village) Church.  The event is free and open to the public!

The Forum will focus on the ever-increasing problem of homelessness, particularly family homelessness — which affects all communities.  The event will provide information on ways all of us can help -through direct service and/or by supporting initiatives that prevent and reduce the causes of homelessness.

Guest speakers include Representative Byron Rushing, Co-chair of the Mass. Commission to End Homelessness, and Lizabeth Heyer from Housing and Community Development.

Following the presentations will be an opportunity for you to meet folks from homeless service and advocacy agencies (including Women of Means) to see how you can get involved and make a difference!
