Wellesley Hills Junior Women's Club

As the February 1, 2017 deadline for applications for 2017 Grants and Scholarships approaches, the Wellesley Hills Juniors Women’s Club (WHJWC) celebrates a strong 2016. With the overwhelming support of sponsors, members, and the community, the WHJWC is happy to report that their first two fundraisers of the 2016/2017 year have been very successful. The WHJWC is well on its way to reaching its annual goals of funds raised to support local nonprofits and college-bound Wellesley High School students.

The Wellesley Marketplace moved to the Wellesley High School this year, and the popular event raised over $115,000, which is a new record that shattered all expectations. Wellesley Marketplace was followed by Luminary Night. This cherished Wellesley event saw the town light up to celebrate the holidays.

One of the main contributors to the WHJWC’s success is the generous support of its sponsors. WHJWC would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to its corporate sponsors, including Needham Bank, Marc A. Leibole MD, Brendon Properties, Roche Bros., and Debi Benoti. Additionally, Jacob Lilley Architects supported Wellesley Marketplace, while Jumbo Capital Management, T.R. Miller Co., Inc., and New England Optical sponsored Luminary Night.
