Like many, when this crisis hit, Traci Shulkin and Jared Wilk of the Shulkin Wilk Group wanted to find a way to help. They decided to support local medical workers by providing meals to nearby hospitals. The Shulkin Wilk Group launched Heal with A Meal, an online fundraiser to raise funds for meals to be delivered to Newton Wellesley Hospital to start. Boston Men’s Baseball League and MedSchoolCoach has partnered with the real estate group and in 7 days raised over $17,000. On Monday night, the first batch of meals from Fiorella’s Express in Wellesley was delivered to Newton Wellesley Hospital and a second round will be delivered tomorrow from Cafe Mangal. Shulkin and Wilk initially started off with a $5,000 goal and have now increased that goal to $20,000. During this pandemic the real estate group has also launched a podcast Live in the Know, which for now, can be found on YouTube.  During this crisis, Shulkin and Wilk are interviewing industry professionals and local businesses owners to provide viewers with answers to lingering questions regarding the buying and selling processes amidst the COVID-19 crisis. They are interviewing mortgage brokers, design specialists and business owners in our community. The episodes can also be found on @theshulkinwilkgroup Instagram TV.
