Longfellow’s Wayside Inn will host its 3rd annual Antiques Show and Sale on Friday May 11 through Sunday May 13, 2012. The show benefits the Wayside Inn Historic Site; a 125-acre, non-profit Massachusetts Historic Landmark dedicated to preservation and education as a colonial homestead and innkeeping site for nearly 300 years. A spectacular Preview Party and Reception will take place Friday, May 11 from 6pm to 9pm, offering fine food and drink as well as advance access to some of the most sought after antiques and decorative arts represented by 43 internationally recognized dealers.
This year’s show features extended shopping hours on Saturday May 12, from 10am to 6pm (Sunday from 10-5), as well as added educational ‘Booth Chats’ presented throughout the weekend by exhibiting specialists knowledgeable in a variety of collecting areas. In addition, in honor of Mother’s Day weekend, any mom will be admitted free-of-charge on Saturday and Sunday when accompanied by a companion paying the full price admission of $10. Tickets to the Opening Night Preview Party are $125 by advance reservation or $150 the night of the event.
