The Wellesley Historical Society will be holding an open house at the Stanwood house, 323 Washington Street, during Wellesley’s Wonderful Weekend on Saturday May 18th from 10 am – 2pm. Take a tour of the Society’s future headquarters and explore a small exhibit from the Society’s collections. Admission is free and all are welcome!
Also, take a guided 1 ½ mile, (1 ½ hour) walk with the Wellesley Historical Society to learn “How Transportation shaped Wellesley.” Meet at the Dadmun/McNamara house at 229 Washington Street (east corner of Route 9). Recommended for adults or interested teens. Walks are currently scheduled for Saturday, May 18th at 9:00 am and Sunday, June 9th at 10:00 am. For more information and to register, call 781.235.6690.
