The Wellesley Historical Society Annual Dinner took place on Wednesday, January 13 at the Alumnae Hall ballroom, Wellesley College. In addition to celebrating the Society’s 90th year, the Wellesley Players’s 90th anniversary, and the Wellesley Hills Woman’s Club’s 125th anniversary, long time supporter Susanne Frederick was honored.
A graduate of Wellesley College, Suzanne first joined the Society in 2006 when she became enamored of the costume and textile collection and of which she has been a major supporter. Over the years her contributions have grown: she provided seed funding for the Scholarship Fund, organized the Tollhouse Shop with Barbara Sturgis in 2006, co-chaired the capital campaign committee, and served as a board member for many years. And she is still involved!
Proceeds from the event went to support the Society’s collections, operations, and scholarship program.
