Specially adapted from Disney Channel’s smash hit movie musical, Disney’s HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL, JR. includes all your favorite infectious, danceable songs like “We’re All in This Together,” “Get’cha Head in the Game,” and “Bop to the Top”. Join Troy, Gabriella, and the rest of East High as they deal with first love, making new friends, and the challenges of being in high school. When basketball team captain Troy and brainy Gabriella decide to audition for the school musical, they cause an upheaval within their own cliques by going against the grain. Although many students resent the threat posed to the “status quo,” Troy and Gabriella’s alliance might just open the door for others to shine as well.

Due to a high demand in participation there are two talented casts filled with 80 students between the ages of seven and fourteen who bring to life East High and its characters of Jocks, Brainiacs, Thespians, and Skater Dudes. Cast members of HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL, JR. reside in Wellesley as well as neighboring communities including Newton, Waban, Auburndale, Needham, Natick, Weston, and Concord.

Disney’s HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL, JR. production staff includes: Benjamin Rush, Director; Hannah Shihdanian, Choreographer; Tristan Bouchard, Musical Director; and Megan Pillsbury, Costume Designer. The book is by David Simpatico, Songs by Mathew Gerrard, Robbie Nevil, Ray Cham, Greg Cham, Andrew Seeley, Randy Peterson, Kevin Quinn, Andy Dodd, Adam Watts, Bryan Louiselle, David N.
