The Wellesley Country Club are this year’s hosts for the 2016 U.S. Senior Women’s Amateur Championship Golf Tournament. It is for women over 50 years of age who have qualified to play. This year’s qualifiers come from 32 states and 3 countries.
Friday, September 16th, after a day on the course, the women enjoyed cocktails and dinner, heard Dave Wedge (author of Boston Strong) and Kayla Harrison (the Olympic Judo Princess) speak, and had the opportunity to have their pictures taken with the 2013 Red Sox World Series Trophy, which was on display.
