Join Jan Brett at the Wellesley Free Library as she shares the story of Mossy’s adventures with Dr. Caroline and Tory and an Eastern Box Turtle named Mossy. The New England Herpetological will join in the fun by bringing their live Eastern Box Turtles for all Jan Brett fans to enjoy.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

With over thirty seven million books in print, Jan Brett is one of the nation’s foremost author/ illustrator of children’s books. She is a New York Times award winning author/illustrator and is well-known for her books: THE MITTEN, The GINGERBREAD BABY and THE THREE SNOW BEARS. Jan lives in a seacoast town in Massachusetts, close to where she grew up. Together with her husband, who is a member of the Boston Symphony Orchestra, Jan visits many different countries where she researches the architecture and costumes that appear in her work.
