On Monday June 15, 2015 the Elizabeth Seton Residence and Marillac Residence in Wellesley hosted a discussion and book signing with award winning investigative reporter and author, Greg O’Brien. His acclaimed book “On Pluto – inside the mind of Alzheimer’s”, is the winner of the Beverly Hills International Book Award.

In the book “On Pluto,” O’Brien writes about living with the disease and not dying with it.  His inspiring presentation was filled with the same hope, faith and humor he uses in his writing.

Over 120 people from Wellesley and surrounding towns attended the event, which opened with a documentary film clip, followed by over an hour of Mr. O’Brien’s comments and a book signing.  Mr. O’Brien fielded many thoughtful questions from those in attendance.  He acknowledged the stress caregivers endure, and encouraged everyone to get involved with organizations such as CureALZ.org and the Alzheimer’s Association, ALZ.org.
