Engel & Völkers Concord has established a scholarship to be awarded to a star student from Concord Carlisle High School, whom embodies the standards of the Engel & Völkers brand. This recipient should be not only successful in their school studies, but also passionate about their community and future.
This year’s recipient of the Engel & Volkers Scholarship is Sam Heinrich, an outstanding young man from Carlisle. He will attend Cornell University, where the top ornithology program in the country recruited him to their College of Arts and Sciences.
He says: “I plan to major in a field that combines math and biology, and to continue to be inspired by the bird photographers at Cornell and elsewhere who have the patience, skill, and energy to take dramatic, colorful, emotional photos of birds.”
Sam is very articulate and gracious. He is a real leader. He’s also a top ranked Scrabble player and has played sax in the Concert Band and Jazz Band for 4 years.
