Join author Michael J. Stedman as he reads from his debut novel.   The klandestin events unfold about  Lt. Col. Mack Maran of the ultra-secret U.S. Special Action Warfighter Command, headquartered covertly deep in the forests of Fort Bragg in N. Carolina.  Stedman will highlight how fiction can mimic fact and end up revealing truths otherwise cloaked in conflict from public understanding.

ABOUT THE BOOK

When Col. Maran’s team of mercenaries is ambushed on a hostage recovery mission on the Congo/Cabinda border in Africa, he knows he has been betrayed by someone in Washington, but who and why?  Why would U.S. military or White House officials throw a decorated American soldier to the wolves?
