Daniel Paquette, Director of Development and Chief Sustainability Officer at Woodmeister Master Builders, was elected Vice Chair of the Rhode Island chapter of the United States Green Building Council (USGBC). Bob Rottenberg, CEO of Long’s Jewelers, was honored earlier this year with a lifetime achievement award for excellence in the jewelry industry. He was inducted into the National Jeweler’s 22nd Annual Retailer Hall of Fame with a ceremony held in conjunction with the Jewelry Information Center’s 8th Annual Gem Awards. Wellesley College Assistant Professor Daniela Rivera has been named one of nine finalists for the Institute of Contemporary Art/Boston’s 2010 James and Audrey Foster Prize, the ICA’s biennial award and exhibition program for Boston-area artists. Presented this year in an expanded format, the 2010 Foster Prize exhibition includes nine artists whose work represents a wide range of mediums—from sculpture and installation to film and video to painting, drawing and photography. This summer Weston Drama Workshop celebrates its 48th Anniversary Season. Participants entering grade six through age 23 will present Children of Eden, Honk!
