On November 20, 2010, over 300 friends and family of the Julie Fund for Women’s Cancer attended their sixth annual gala, “Jewels for Julie,” at the Park Plaza Hotel in Boston. Jewelry and other prizes were won in carnival-type games and the evening was topped off by a raffle of a diamon necklace donated by Shreve, Crump and Low.
The evening raised more than $200,000 for the Julie Fund.
