Waterstone at Wellesley sponsors events which are free and open to the public, but an RSVP is requested at 781-235-1614. Waterstone is located at 27 Washington St., and includes 134 apartments for seniors 62 and older. It features independent and assisted living rental apartments.

Here are their sponsored events for March:

Lecture series with Izzi Abrams: History of the Women’s Movement —In celebration of Women’s History Month, Librarian Izzi Abrams of Swampscott Public Library will present a lecture on the history of the women’s movement every Wednesday in March (March 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30) at 3:15 p.m.

Lisa Caliri to perform—Pianist and teacher Lisa Caliri will perform a concert on Thursday, March 3 at 2 p.m. Caliri has performed at Carnegie Hall, National Concert Hall, Aspen Musical Festival, American Matthay Piano Festival and throughout the U.S., Europe and Asia.

Dave Becker to perform—Musician and entertainer Dave Becker will perform at Waterstone at Wellesley on Friday, March 11 at 4:30 p.m. Becker is a popular performer in the Boston area and plays several instruments, including the guitar, piano and saxophone.

Dan Kimmel to discuss ‘Inherit the Wind’ —Accomplished film critic Dan Kimmel will discuss Stanley Kramer’s 1960 film “Inherit the Wind,” starring Spencer Tracy, Frederic March and Gene Kelly, on Sunday, March 13 at 2:30 p.m.

“Everything’s Coming Up Irish” with Mel Simons — Waterstone at Wellesley will welcome WBZ Radio personality Mel Simons for his popular show, “Everything’s Coming Up Irish,” on Wednesday, March 16 at 4 p.m.

Craft Beer Tasting—Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with a special Craft Beer Tasting on Thursday, March 17 at 4 p.m.

Singer Dieter Weslowski—Singer Dieter Weslowski will perform on Saturday, March 19 at 7:30 p.m. From an early age, Weslowski began singing in choirs and throughout the years formed a love for American jazz and blues as well as world music.

Gary Hylander lecture on Eleanor Roosevelt—Professor Gary Hylander will present a lecture on the life and work of Eleanor Roosevelt at Waterstone at Wellesley on Tuesday, March 22 at 3 p.m.

Herb Belkin lecture on Golda Meir—Historian Herb Belkin will give a presentation about the life and work of Golda Meir March 24 at 2 p.m.

Art Matters to discuss Pre-20th Century Women Artists—Artist, educator and Art Matters owner Jane Blair will visit Waterstone at Wellesley on Monday, March 28 at 2:30 p.m.
