Massachusetts Bay Community College and the MassBay Foundation will host the 4th annual MassBay 5K Race/Walk on Sunday, October 2, 2016 at 10:00AM. There will also be a fun run for children 8-years old and under that will be held before the 5K at 9:30AM. Registration opens at 9:15AM. President Dr. David Podell will be on hand to welcome the runners and walkers at this family friendly event. Medals will be presented to the top runners and prizes will be raffled off to the participants.
Interested runners and walkers will pay a $25 registration fee. Children running in the Fun Run and MassBay students will pay a $10 registration fee, with all proceeds going to The Krystle Campbell Scholarship. Runners and walkers can register here.

The Krystle Campbell Scholarship was established at MassBay in memory of Krystle Campbell, a Medford resident who lost her life in the Boston Marathon bombings on April 15, 2013. She graduated from Massachusetts Bay Community College in 2005, with an Associate Degree in Business Administration.
