ARTEFACT HOME|GARDEN will be hosting a day to benefit Waltham Fields Community Farm on Wednesday, August 15th from 10am to 6pm.    Waltham Fields’ 2012 goal is to distribute
$ 50,000 of farm fresh product through food access efforts.   This is being done through donations to emergency food programs, operating the Waltham Fields Outreach Market, a farm-to-school program and subsidized CSAs.  In addition WFCF provides food education through children’s learning programs and practical skills workshops for adults, service learning and farmer training.  Learn more at  www.communityfarms.org

Everyone making a store purchase of $ 50 or more or a WFCF donation of $ 75 or more will be entered to win a one-of-a-kind serving board by local furniture maker Ray Bachand paired with silver serving pieces from the Artefact collection.

10% of all store sales for the day will be donated to Waltham Fields Food Access and Education efforts.
