Wellesley Theatre Project is pleased to announce a free Master Class with Broadway professional Jessica Rush on Monday, May 20. Students in grades 2-12 are invited to participate. The workshops are part of Wellesley Theatre Project’s commitment to community outreach and will be held at the WTP Studio located at 98 R Central Street in Wellesley Square.

Two after-school workshops are scheduled, both led by Jessica Rush, who is currently appearing in the Broadway musical, The Jersey Boys in NYC:
Dance Workshop will be held from 3:30-4:30PM. 40 Students are encouraged to dance or observe. Jessica Rush will teach students a dance combination with choreography from the Broadway production of Jersey Boys. There is no pressure to nail the material — just to have fun learning choreography taught by a pro.

Next, a Musical Theatre Audition Workshop will be held from 5:30PM – 8PM. All are encouraged to attend as observers (as space permits), but 20 students will have the chance to workshop 32 bars of a prepared song.

If interested in participating in the workshops, students are asked to sign up online by visiting  www.wellesleytheatreproject.org/workshops-master-classes/.
