Wellesley Dental Group introduces their new Pediatric Dentist, Dr. Van Orenstein, to the Metro-west community!

The caring team at Wellesley Dental Group is excited to welcome our Pediatric Dentist, Dr. Van Orenstein! He is a native of Massachusetts, having been raised in Newton, where he attended the Newton North High School. He then went on to complete his undergraduate studies at the University of Vermont. Before returning to Massachusetts, Dr. Van covered a lot of distance! He attended dental school at the University Of Pennsylvania School Of Dental Medicine, and then completed his pediatric dental residency at the University of California, Los Angeles. Now, he is finally back home!

Dr. Orenstein is an active and outstanding member of the dental community. He is part of a select group of exceptional pediatric dentists who have completed an additional degree of recognized excellence in pediatric dentistry! He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry (ABPD). He is also a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD), the American Dental Association (ADA), the Massachusetts Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (MAPD), and the Massachusetts Dental Society (MDS).

Dr. Orenstein strongly believes in the importance of creating a fun and welcoming atmosphere for patients as well as parents. One of his goals is to introduce good dental habits to our youth, preventing dental diseases later on in life. He is dedicated to detecting oral health issues early to ensure healthy and strong teeth for a lifetime, perceiving good oral hygiene to be the key to overall health. He aims to create both an educational and enjoyable environment for his patients at all times.

In his spare time, Dr. Orenstein enjoys reading, cooking, and exercising. He is a huge Boston sports fan, and likes playing various sports too! His experience with young patients, latest technology and research is a great asset to the Wellesley Dental Group team and we are glad to have him join us!
