Irving Berlin’s White Christmas tells the story of two showbiz buddies putting on a show in a picturesque Vermont inn, and finding their perfect mates in the bargain.  Based on the beloved, timeless film, this heartwarming adaptation is full of dancing, romance, laughter, and seventeen classic Irving Berlin standards, including “Count Your Blessings Instead of Sheep,” “Happy Holiday,” “Sisters,” “Blue Skies,” and the unforgettable title song. Irving Berlin’s White Christmas promises to be a merry and bright experience for the entire family!

White Christmas is directed and choreographed by Daniel Sullivan, a recent graduate of the Boston Conservatory.  Musical director Allison Grocela collaborates with Sullivan for the second time, after last spring’s production of Gypsy.  They have assembled a cast of 35 singing and dancing men, women, and children to bring to life some of the most memorable songs ever written.

The Weston Friendly Society, the second oldest community theater in the country, donates money from each production to local charitable causes.  This year’s beneficiaries are the Condakes and John Barclay Memorial Scholarship Funds, which support the Weston Drama Workshop, and the WFS Drama Award, for a graduating senior from Weston High School.
