On Thursday, March 11 at 7 pm, the Weston Wind Quintet will be performing at the Wakelin Room of the Wellesley Main Library.
The Weston Wind Quintet was formed in 1967 by the first chair wind players of the Harvard-Radcliffe Orchestra. Program will include Anton Reicha: Woodwind Quintet, Opus 91, No. 3, in D Major; Poldowski, arr. Georges Barrere: Suite Miniature; Bernhard Heiden: Sinfonia; Claude Debussy, arr. Gordon Davies: Suite No.2; Gustav Holst, arr. David Bussick: March from the Second Suite for Band. Free and open to the public. Generously sponsored by the Friends of the Wellesley Free Libraries.
