Wellesley Theatre Project Presents: A Musical Theatre Cabaret!

March 22 at 6pm at the WTP Studio

Wellesley Theatre Project (WTP) will present a Musical Theatre Cabaret on March 22 at 6pm featuring students from the audition-only touring group, IMPACT! Admission is $15 for adults and $10 for students and seniors. WTP is also happy to request canned meal donations for the Wellesley Food Pantry. The WTP studio is located at 98R Central St. in Wellesley. Tickets can be purchased online at www.wellesleytheatreproject.org or at the studio.

IMPACT! is comprised of students ranging from 4th grade through 11th grade who demonstrate advanced performance skills and leadership. The current students come from Wellesley, Framingham, Needham, and Newton communities. The group’s mission is to engage in their local and global communities through outreach by addressing important social values through dramatic performance. The Musical Theatre Cabaret will feature solo and group performances with singing and dancing appropriate for all ages.

The group is led by Hannah Shihdanian, WTP’s Director of Community Outreach/Resident Choreographer; and Tristan Bouchard, Music Director.

Wellesley Theatre Project is an arts academy and a Wellesley nonprofit devoted to providing students (PreK – 12th Grade) with the opportunity to study and experience theatre and performing arts through year round classes, staged productions, workshops and summer camps.

Registration is open for WTP’s Spring Session and 2015 Summer Camps. Sessions include three production camps geared for students between 2nd and 12th grade in addition to one week Theatre Arts camps for Pre K- 12th grade. The production camps are: Disney’s 101 Dalmatians, Kids (Grades 2-8), G2K Oklahoma (Grades 2-12), and The Addams Family (Grades 8-12).
